 Mar. 2003金谷町の看板によると，江戸時代に幕府が助郷の人々に命じて作られたという。部分的に30m程度が残存していただけだったが，1991年に復元され，約380m，標高差70m程度におよび石畳が続く（カシミール3Dによる計測）。全国の旧街道で石畳が残るのはここを含め3カ所しかないという。JR金谷駅の南西すぐの牧ノ原台地の段丘崖の急斜面に位置する。 This stone pavement was constructed in Edo era by inhabitant under the command of the Tokugawa Shogunate (by the explanation sign of Kanaya Town). Its was distance only about 30m before it was reconstructed in 1991. Now, this pavement has a distance of about 380m and altitude difference of about 70m (mesuared by Kashimir 3D). It is located on steep terrace clif of Makinohara Plateau where is towards of south-southwest of JR Kanaya Stn. and close to it. |
