There are weathered granite soil (masatsuchi) on elevated fault scarps and slopes of hills which are formed by the reverse-slip fault of Rokko Movement. Ikoma Mts. and Kongo Mts. are composed mostly of granite which were formed in the end of Mesozonic era. |
