 Oct. 26, 2003神戸市東灘区 神戸市が，六甲山地中腹を削りとった土石を埋め立てて造成した人工島。中心部は住宅・商業地で，周囲はコンテナ港となっている。建築物の建設は完全にそれぞれの民間企業に託されたため，ビルのデザインはバラバラである。阪神大震災の際は全島的に液状化現象が起き，とくに港湾機能は壊滅的打撃を受けた。なお，削り取られた土地も住宅団地になっている。 Higashinada Ward, Kobe City. Kobe City Government constructed this island by reclamation. The earth and rocks were carried from the foot of Rokko Mts. The center of the island is residential and commercial area and the thick margin of the island is a container port. The island was severely damaged by liquefaction at the Hanshin Awaji Great Earthquake. |
