 Jun. 11, 2003神戸市須磨区 六甲山地を含む周辺の花崗岩山地での砂防工事の進展で土砂供給量が減少し，砂浜の幅が著しく狭くなった。旧運輸省（現国土交通省）の海岸保全事業として，1970年代以降，神戸市により瀬戸内海の海砂が投入され，養浜で維持されている。 Suma Ward, Kobe City. Because of constructing sabo dams in surrounding grinite mountains (included Rokko Mountains), supply of earth and sand has decreased. So, the beach became narrow. Kobe City has carried sand from Seto Naikai Sea and nourished into the beach since 1970s.
